All over the Algarve there are pottery shops and the larger ones seem to advertise their wares by filling an outside wall with plates. I have visited one and far from buying anything that resembled examples here, I opted for plain rustic Portuguese tableware which I found far more useful and appealing. This colourful wall of plates however caught my eye more so for the yellow wall decoration against the deep blue sky behind.
